FAZEmag 095 – January 2019 edition

Many thanks to FAZEmag for the excellent article about [ONR036] Frederic Stunkel – Lumen EP.

Frederic Stunkel – Lumen EP (onesun Moscow).

With a lot of pull and finesse, Frederic Stunkel knows how to pull the listener onto the dance floor! “Lumen” goes straight ahead and drives with a catchy and timed synth. The short vocal, which seems to interrupt the structure again and again, does the track very well and shows that Stunkel is at home both in Ibiza and in the sweaty techno cellars of the world. “Nectar of Acid”, as the name suggests, is saturated with acidic elements, but still has its own distinctive note that should attract dancers like hummingbirds. “Obscure Structure” is dark, clear in its alignment and equipped with a croaky synth that doesn’t appear often, but when you do, you notice it immediately. Here, too, Frederic Stunkel again branches melodic notes with acid elements, which are very catchy in their overall position. Strong EP with a lot of what we love in this music.
